Okay kids, back before your parents got old and while the Earth was still cooling, we used to type on these devices. Think of it as a computer without the brains.....old school analog. This ad is probably from the late '70s or early '80s.

This one is an ad for the legendary IBM Selectric.

Which reminds me... I'm gonna dust off my Model M and bring it to work. Sick of Apple's slick piece of shit keyboard. It might be pretty but it's not practical as a typing machine; probably because Steve Jobs wasn't a programmer typing away all day.
